Spaghetti Western

Down at the Docks the sound of a sole seagull and plastic blowing in the wind a spaghetti western playing in my head then I wonder love is so hard to conquer you either can't make up your mind or you're infatuated it's like the wind out there completely comb or blowing like hell oh nuggets of knowledge can you please help me discover what I'm after and somebody's wading in the tide for Minnows you have to jump in the water to get what you're after and to my surprise he brings up a jar from the bottom in the bottom a beautiful creature I see its a seahorse to me and that's what it is makes it so pretty and what it is that makes it so pretty is this stuff of love it's so fragile and ornate perfect in form and Design and I know it's a rare find you have to you have to Handle it With Care in fact like a butterfly you should let it go to come back another day how much does Beauty like Love it's fleeting how much like Beauty are they an infatuation how much like love do you care and look after them down at the dock the sound of a solo seagull

"Lone Drifter" by Kevin Lajiness (I'm The Lone Drifter, well I can be if I want)

Lone lone drifter nomad of the dessert and the stars
fading away fading away without the love i need to heal me
if only a star i could follow to save my heart that would be a start
sometimes stars and signs dont all ways point to matters of the heart
and then again old drifters the love we seek is in the wind
and so the signs the tumble weed the sidewinder a lone singer
next to a cactus when i see the turquoise in the pebbles in the sand
i see the turquoise in her eyes and over there sitting on a rock
with her hair down to there braided silk like the mane of a thundering mare
oh how i like pining and i dare dream of her lying next to me
when i die they will say that old lonely drifter loved romancing a mirage
Lone lone drifter nomad of the dessert and the stars
fading away fading away without the love i need to heal me
if only a star i could follow to save my heart that would be a start
that would be a start but sometimes stars and signs dont all ways
point to matters of the heart and then again old drifters
the love we seek is in the wind and so the signs the tumble weed
the sidewinder a lone singer next to a cactus when i see the turquoise
in the pebbles in the sands i see the turquoise in her eyes
and over there sitting on a rock with her hair down to there braided silk
silk like the mane of a thunderous mare

Patcong Seal (Marine Mammal) eating a Fish 3/31/2014

I took this Video back in March, It must be rare to see
a Seal in the Back bay(creek) I've spent allot of time on the bay
and in the open Areas of the back bays and this is the first
for me at 55 years old, so you can imagine how excited I was,
the first thing I thought was marine Mammals are trying
to make a comeback, they once whaled right of the Jersey shore
in small boats, also whales have been going in the Hudson
river inlet in N.Y. that is why it is so important to stop the sonic
blast in the oceans, there has got to be a better way than to
hurt these beautiful intelligent creatures.
anyone familiar with the area will recognize the location when the camera pans up

Tom McClaren,(Computer Guy) an avid surfer

"Tom McClaren,(Computer Guy) an avid surfer, family man and retired employee of AT&T..."
and Seaview School Linwood, NJ, "Starting first as a competitor in 1971, moving to the head
judge of the District in 1975 and then to Co-Director in 1977"..., Tom has been a moving force in the ESA ,Tom took on the additional duties of Head Judge for the Easterns and two U.S. Championships.  In 1984, after studying at the feet of Ben Lane (who had in turn learned the ropes from David Reese), Tom became Competition Director and served in that role until 1987. During his tenure he instituted the six-man heat format and the regional contest format, creating the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic and Southeast Regional Championships we have today. But it was as the “Computer Guy” that Tom made his most important contribution to the ESA. Using the skills from his job with AT&T, he single-handedly brought the ESA into the computer age in the mid 80’s."(pressofAtlanticCity)
"Last Year after the Duratio that hit the mid east Tom told me he had been busy
keeping in shape riding his bike and doing some high mileage at it.
Shown here today with his eldest grandson kayaking from Seaview Docks Linwood to see the air show in AC" (Kevin Lajiness)

Some Day

Someday will come together as a family
Will work together till eternity
This is the hope of hopes for the mighty
The course is set don’t veer from the horizon
There must be a reason for humanity
If there were no future its insanity
Just knowing I Live is a miracle
Some things in life remain mystical
God’s wisdom is truly magnificent
His power of deliverance significant
Man is not capable of understanding
It is faith that binds us together
The rope that swings hope to forever

About Me

My Photo

This is Long over due for an Edit, but the main thing is I've been progressing with my music

"I'm going to rewrite this soon to include some life events" Here's the dealeo, I started doing Wood Sculptures about 15 years ago to try and keep myself busy after I stopped drinking and smoking. About 5 years into it I got throat and neck Cancer. I say this because before I had the Cancer I had not written or sung Music. Looking to clean up an open space in late 2007 and 2008 ( http://openspacedocumentary.blogspot.com/) i became closer to some of the local wild life, I bonded with a Hawk and a Baby duck and started to write songs, I forced myself to sing when I could, I have over three hundred songs now, some good, some not so good, but I am getting better at writing, singing, mixing and arranging.

New:"Charleena"2013 "The River" 2013 and "Cried and Cried My life Story"2012 others "Reflections Destiny"2012 "Kevin'ns Epic Music"2012 "Fire Storm Of Emotion" 2012"Angel Secrets"2012 All 18 Available at my Store http://www.reverbnation.com/Kevin Lajiness

Song Writer/Naive Artist/story-teller

Nature inspires Linwood man to sing, record despite bout with throat cancer (PressOfAtlanticCity.Com)

Album "Epic Shine"  "Walk Away" before that was"Angel Woman" along with some old remakes"Sing Back In time2011" and "Its The Spirit In The Dance" along with over one hundred of my songs and other Albums available for Sale all streaming at http://www.reverbnation.com/kevinlajiness
I write from a position of emotion and honesty, usually tell a story about love, life, relationships, nature, adventure, history, spirituality, philosophy etc. My Art and Music style is Naive, I beat mix looped instruments as accompaniments but the melodies don't necessarily match, but I put a great deal of thought into them and try and bring something epic to bear in mind, yet some of my songs are ballads and relaxing songs of love .
I have 5 song books/ songbooks online 4 of them avalable as google e-books my "The 2009" http://kevinlajiness2009song.blogspot.com/  and 2010 Song Book https://books.google.com/books?id=SWsPBAAAQBAJThe 2011 Song Book https://books.google.com/books?id=8xkOBAAAQBAJ  and
Kevin Lajiness 2012 Song Book https://books.google.com/books?id=MpsNBAAAQBAJKevin Lajiness 2013-2014 Song Book (Google eBook)http://books.google.com/books/about/Kevin_Lajiness_2013_2014_Song_Book.html?id=wHEMBAAAQBAJ
These books represent a ton of work , good bad or indifferent. I apologize ahead of time for typo's English and spelling, i suck at all of that, but it's about the music and lyrics and that's what really matter but I gave it my best.
with some links to the songs , some I have taken down, (I am going to try and put them all back up for nostalgia and to show my progress from Throat and neck Cancer), but the lyrics are all there
I have many slideshows/Videos of nature and Open Space pic's over the years that I put to my music on YouTube-kevinlajiness  and saved in Google + or Picasa.

I grew up on Lake Erie Lagoons, my grandfather had a bate shop. Fishing and hunting was big on my fathers side no doubted stemmed from the fact that his ancestors were “Woods Runners” or “coureurs des bois”. As long as I can remember I’ve had a love for trees, nature and the environment, I attribute that, and the spiritual connection I have with mother earth, to the connection my ancestors had with the Indigenous peoples of the Americas. Most if not all of them are child friendly. I started writing my early songs while working on a open space for a year, where I bonded with a hawk and a duck.

Allot of what I draw from comes from life’s experience and what’s in my heart, what I believe is a responsibility to carry the messages of or ancestors on what is right, to come to a conclusion we are all part of something bigger than ourselves and that we pass that on to our children in story and song, but remember i am an artist I write story and rhyme, lesson and fable, I do not try to be politically correct.even though i don't use cuss words other that Hell and dam, I don't have a problem with artist that do,to each there own, I believe things evolve for a reason, hey it got someone out of the slums, by the way the baby duck that followed me home got to big and i gave her to a zoo keeper, she flew back to his house from the zoo and they raised her, she has since had her own baby's
